Another game, another pathetic, wretched, sad, listless, lethargic, pitiful, weak, useless and feeble effort from the Bulls. (Thank you Mr. Thesaurus.)

Take that, Joakim Noah. The loudmouth waste of a Bulls' draft pick found out just what it means to be a rookie in the NBA this weekend. After an outburst at assistant coach Ron Adams during Friday's shoot-around, Noah was benched by his coach Friday night. His teammates voted to extend the vacation through Sunday's game.

For the 23,097 fans at the sold-out United Center Tuesday night, a close win by the Bulls would have sufficed. After all, the Heat are the defending champs and have one of the most prolific scoring duos in the NBA.

Despite watching his team ride stellar efforts from Luol Deng, Ben Gordon and Ben Wallace to a 96-91 game one victory over the Miami Heat at the United Center on Saturday, coach Scott Skiles was upset. Some might even say he was "Steven Segal- pissed" the way the vein in his forehead was beating.

A mere 20 days ago, the New York Knicks were a half game away from the eighth spot in the playoff race in the East. Since that time, they lost nine of 11 and fell to seven games behind the eighth spot to finish fourth from the basement in the East.

After the Bulls put the cherry on top of their up-and-down season with a disappointing, yet not surprising 106-97 loss to the Nets in New Jersey Wednesday night, Scott Skiles was all smiles.

With the Cavs hot on their heels for the second seed in the East, it seemed like the perfect weekend for the Bulls to drop two in a row against sub-par teams and begin their annual downward spiral into post-season oblivion.
