Tank sentenced to jail, ordered to pay off judge’s Super Bowl debt
When Cook County Circuit Judge John Moran released Terry "Tank" Johnson from house arrest last January, he told the Bears defensive tackle he needed a Super Bowl victory because he had "fallen behind on some bills." On Thursday, it was clear Judge Moran was serious, not only sentencing Johnson jail time but also ordered him to pay $2,500, the amount the judge lost betting on the Bears in Super Bowl XLI.

The supplies store at the Cook County jail will need to put in a new order for Sharpies after the sentencing of the Bears' Tank Johnson. Inmates at the jail rushed to purchase the markers in hopes of getting an autograph from the NFL star.

Already armed with Lovie Smith testifying on the behalf of her client, Propes already figured the judge would be too star-struck to decide against her client. When she bumped into Brian Urlacher at the courthouse, Propes thought she had an open and shut case.
Bears trade Urlacher to make Briggs happy
One day after Lance Briggs declared he "would never play another down for the Bears again," the franchise traded Pro Bowler Brian Urlacher to Miami for a conditional draft pick in an effort to appease the disgruntled outside linebacker.
