Fans are so excited about Kosuke Fukudome’s play this season that they’re considering again wearing racist apparel such as the controversial T-shirts that made headlines in 2008 when he made his Major League debut.
Luckily for these fans, many Wrigleyville T-shirt vendors are happy to accommodate them.
“After Fukudome started to suck, people stopped buying the ‘Horry Kow’ shirts and rising sun headbands I was selling,” said T-shirt salesman Tom Johnson. “But now that he’s playing better I can finally unload the three truckloads of this Oriental crap I still have back at the warehouse.”
