The Cubs are roughly a million games under .500 going into tonight’s action, but if they somehow take 3 of 4 from the Phillies, the season might still be salvageable. And who better than Randy Wells (aside from any of the Phillies starters) to take the ball in a must-win for the Cubs?
Of course, there’s something to be said for a pitcher that can field the ball, too.
