Sluggers bartender Kimberely Cohen is making headlines in Chicago this month after posing naked for a Playboy feature on America’s Sexiest Bartenders, marking the first time a Wrigleyville waitress has been paid to take off her clothes.

“When Playboy approached me I was reluctant to get paid to take off my clothes because Wrigleyville Waitresses normally just do it for free, you know, with baseball players and other rich guys,” said Cohen. “Plus it’s against the Wrigleyville Waitress Code which we all hold in very high esteem.”

Established in 1984, the 215-page Wrigleyville Waitress Code states that “Getting naked after hours or during breaks can only be done with ballplayers (visiting or home), bar owners to help secure better shifts and random rich men with the hope of finding a sugar daddy. Naked interaction with bouncers, bar backs and customers is generally frowned upon. Also, under no circumstances should you pose naked for a publication like Playboy or Naked Waitresses Monthly as this sends the wrong message to the general public that they might actually have a chance to hook up with us, which is almost never the case.”

Already Cohen is drawing much more unwanted attention than she anticipated, with Sluggers customers of all shapes and sizes thinking they have a chance of sleeping with her.

“It’s been terrible,” Cohen said. “Just the other day some big fat guy asked for my number. He didn’t even drive a Mercedes, so there was no chance of that happening.”
