The Illinois State Police announced they’ll be swarming I-94 north of Chicago to perform random searches on cars with Wisconsin plates this weekend.
“This will be a very high profile weekend in Illinois and we’ve got to do whatever we can to clamp down on foolishness and contraband entering our fair state,” said ISP director Jonathon Monken. “Therefore, any morons from north of the border found traveling with fake wedges of cheese in their vehicles will be detained until at least Monday. And I can’t guarantee we won’t rough them up at least a little.”
