The Bears defense, with its NFC-leading 11 interceptions, has spent much of the week preparing for how they’ll celebrate their pick-sixes against the struggling Bills and their awful backup QB Nathan Peterman.
“Peterman’s thrown almost as many career pick-sixes (2) as he’s thrown TDs to his own team (3),” said CB Kyle Fuller, who has three INTs on the season. “It’s not a matter of if we’ll take as least one of his wounded ducks to the house. It’s just a matter of how we’ll celebrate it when we do it.”
Fuller’s fellow cornerback Prince Amukamara already had a pick-six off Russell Wilson in the second game of the season and has spent every minute since then planning his end zone dance.
“Well, when you have the time to plan for a QB like Peterman, you can put a lot of thought into how you’ll celebrate the pick-sixes you know he’s going to throw,” said Amukamara. “I don’t want to give too much away, but we’ll have props for sure. Maybe even our own folding table to destroy.”
