Being the rare player who’s been on both teams in the World Series, Kerry Wood was surprisingly briefly torn on which team he’ll be rooting for.
“Well, I played most of my career with the Cubs, but I did play 81 games in two seasons with Cleveland,” said Wood. “They paid me $20 million during that time and I feel like it would be kind of rude if I didn’t pull for them too.”
Added Wood: “Ah screw it. Go Cubs!”
