Several media outlets report that Jay Cutler will be offered a five-year contract worth about $100 million. However, a key provision in the new pact is an incentive to not say the word “whatever.”
A source close to the team said, “If Jay doesn’t say ‘whatever’ in press conferences and during his radio program, he’ll earn a bonus of $50,000 per event. It could total as much as $1 million for each season.”
An additional bonus will be paid if the quarterback eliminates from his vocabulary the expression ‘F#$% off’ with additional incentives for not flipping off fans and media.
