Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau will be part of the coaching staff for Team USA during the 2016 Olympics in Rio. He said he’s honored by the new role, but there’s one thing still bothering him: whether Derrick Rose will return in time to play on the squad.
“Gee, that’s a tough one,” Thibs said. “I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV, but I would think that four years would be more than sufficient time for a knee injury to heal.”
When asked if that is the case, Rose’s loudmouth brother Reggie would only say “maybe.” He then grinned devilishly.
