Blackhawks forward and notorious party animal Patrick Kane made news on and off the ice today, as he pushed his team over the top against Detroit, then was promptly arrested for streaking after what he termed a “simple misunderstanding, bro.”
Following a question about the points streak the Blackhawks are currently enjoying from local reporter Rachel Macella, Kane stripped naked, ran through crowd and into the Detroit night. He was picked up seven hours later at a college party, naked, and as is his tradition, severely inebriated.
“I simply asked him how he felt about the streak,” said Macella. “He responded by yelling out ‘Did someone say streak!’ Then he downed a hidden bottle of Crown Royal and peeled off his uniform. He flirted with a couple female reporters on his way out, but that’s to be expected.”
