Anyone associated with Big Ten Football this year knows it has been a tough season. Whether it be a child sex scandal, Ohio State being ineligible, or Indiana University fielding a football team, the Big Ten has suffered some black eyes of late.
In response to a very boring year and Northwestern being relevant for the Rose Bowl, Big Ten Football has announced a name change for their Leaders and Legends Divisions: the Lousy and Lackluster Divisions.
Though all but three teams qualified for the Lousy division, they are headed by Iowa, Minnesota and cream of the crop Illinois. The winner qualifies for three years of complete irrelevancy.
The Lackluster Division has mediocre powerhouses Michigan, Northwestern and Wisconsin. The winner qualifies for the Meineke Car Care Bowl against the 5th ranked WAC team.
Still protected is the Rose Bowl for best divisional record. Every team has the same goal: getting trounced by 40 against a PAC-12 team.
