Todd Shaw admittedly hadn’t watched an Oakland A’s game in six years. He assumed nothing had changed outside of wins and losses.
“Uh yeah, pretty sure Macha’s still managing,” said Shaw. “A friend of mine told me Mark Mulder retired, and I thought Hudson and Zito were still there.”
Having not seen Zito or Hudson pitch for the A’s this postseason, Shaw furiously took to his twitter after Game 5.
His initial tweet read: “Macha is clueless, how do you not pitch Zito ONCE the whole series? #cleanhouse”
After some backlash from Giants fans, Shaw merely tweeted back with “My bad. Didn’t even know Zito went to the Giants. How does that explain no Hudson though? #unansweredquestions”
