Shortly after the Blackhawks were destroyed by the Predators 6-1 at the United Center Sunday night, coach Joel Quenneville made a bold statement.
“We’re not allowing Duncs to elbow any jackasses in the head ever again,” said the Blackhawks coach, in reference to all-star defenseman Duncan Keith, who was sitting out the first of a five-game suspension for a flagrant elbow to the head of Canucks creepy twin Daniel Sedin last week. “From now on, the Blackhawks dirty work will be handled by a lesser player, which apparently is pretty much anyone.”
