LeBron James may have tipped his hand in the looming free agency frenzy by wearing a Knicks uniform for most of the fourth quarter during the Cavs’ elimination by the Celtics Thursday night.
“People have been talking for a couple years about what team I’m going to wind up with this offseason,” James told reporters after the game. “I always said I wouldn’t comment on it one way or the other so you can take me wearing this Knicks uniform anyway you’d like.”
