Matt Nagy doubled down Saturday morning, saying he plans to have his offense kneel on every play Sunday rather than risk a turnover against the Eagles.
The move comes after Nagy’s controversial decision last week to kneel against the Chargers with 43 seconds left to set up a 41-yard field goal that was eventually missed.
“I made up my mind: No attempts to advance the ball on offense this week,” said Nagy. “We can’t risk something bad happening like an interception, fumble or penalty.”
Added Nagy: “But I have the utmost faith in Mitch and the rest of my offense, even the running backs, which I’m told is a position some teams like to utilize in today’s NFL.”
