Fox Sports announced on Wednesday that they have added several former MLB players to the studio analyst team for the upcoming championship series to go along with convicted cheaters Pete Rose and Alex Rodriguez, and the ‘Big Jerk’ Frank Thomas.
“Focusing on the integrity of the game is first and foremost at our network,” said Peter Rice, Chairman and CEO for the Fox Networks Group. “Pete, Alex and Frank embody class on and off the field and we can’t wait to give the fans more great former ballplayers who are even greater human beings to provide dynamic game analysis. I’m going to bet my bottom dollar that this is the best team that Fox has ever assembled.”
The five new additions include Milton Bradley, John Rocker, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds and the great-grandson of Ty Cobb.
“Cobb’s great-grandson is an even bigger a-hole than the original, so getting him on board was a tough negotiation, but in the end we made him an offer he just couldn’t refuse,” added Rice. “Now if we can just get Donald Trump to agree to do some in-game commentary, we’ll be flexing our muscles like never before.”
