NBA Players Association Executive Director Michele Roberts said that 2015 free agent players will not be allowed to sign with the University of Kentucky.
“While we appreciate everything that Kentucky’s coach John Calipari has done to contribute by sending players to the NBA, we cannot condone the pay cuts that our free agents will take to sign with UK,” Roberts stated in a press release.
Roberts said NBA players would be free to sign with UCLA, North Carolina and West Virginia.
