Brandon Marshall made headlines Thursday when he offered $25,000 for charity to box a Twitter troll who defamed his mother. In another stroke of bad luck for the Bears, the Twitter troll was later revealed to be a Golden Gloves boxer, who will most likely mop the floor with Marshall should the two ever actually match up.
“I had no idea the guy was actually a boxer when I suggested we duke it out,” said Marshall. “I just figured he was another meat head giving me a hard time on social media. Turns out I was wrong.”
Added Marshall: “First time for everything.”
