The Chicago Bulls made a splash this week when they traded nine-year vet and small forward All-Star Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Andrew Bynum and what is assumed to be one half of a functional knee.
They are expected to cut the oft-injured Bynum and continue their rebuilding efforts, today trading Marquis Teague to a street vendor for a ham sandwich and two ham sandwiches to be named later.
“The deal almost hit a snag this afternoon when it was reported that they were going to add plain yellow mustard,” said Bulls GM Gar Forman. “I wouldn’t accept anything less than stone ground or dijon.”
Teague is expected to be moved to the Sandwich League or S-League affiliate, the Iowa Italian Beefs.
