The annual post season press conference held by Bears GM Phil Emery and coach Marc Trestman entered its second week with a review of each play made by special teams during the 2013 season followed by a discussion of the practice play of the taxi squad.
As local scribes scrambled to grab make-shift cots to nap in between transitional presentations from GM to coach, the filibuster was expected to continue for at least four more days.
When asked how much longer the press conference would continue, Emery said, “That’s a fair question, but we’re not close to finishing.”
“Tomorrow, we’ll get into grooming habits of the offensive line, and then talk about the specifics of food items that will be included on the buffet table at next summer’s training camp.”
