The skies weren’t so friendly around Chicago as employees at O’Hare Airport refused to let Tim Tebow off a plane. With Jay Cutler out at least 4 weeks, the Bears are looking for a backup for Josh McCown.
And Chicago sports fans say they have no time for “Tebow Time.”
“Is Jerry Angelo running this team again?” said Richard Garcia, a security guard for the airport. “The only good thing about Tebow is the Bears would be the lead story on every SportsCenter.”
Tebow did all he could to get off the plane, saying he’s only in Chicago for the pizza, to speaking in a foreign tongue, to saying he’s actually Tim’s younger brother Tom.
Officials eventually decided to give him a free one-way ticket to Jacksonville.
