Beautiful Wrigley Field got a lot less beautiful when David DeJesus got traded this week, meaning no more sightings of his beautiful wife Kim.
And the Cubs are well aware of this..
“Let’s face it, this has been another tough year for the Cubs,” said GM Jed Hoyer. ” The only saving grace was checking out Kim DeJesus in the stands. Let’s not beat around the bush. Kim’s hot. It was so tough trading David. Now when we make a trade offer we make sure the player we want gives us a photo of his wife. If she’s hot, we’ll pursue the player.”
The Cubs tried to remedy the situation but to no avail.
“After we traded David we offered Kim the job of ball girl but she told us to shove it,” Hoyer said. “I’m guessing she was upset about the trade.”
