ESPN columnist and TV personality Skip Bayless made history today when he asserted that the Indianapolis Colts regret drafting Andrew Luck. This random and completely unfounded observation marks the 1,000,000,000th time in Bayless’ career that he was blatantly wrong.
Among Bayless’ most notable gaffes: the time he guaranteed LeBron James would never win a title, his belief that people care about his opinion and his claim that he was a starting point guard in high school.
No other human has been incorrect nearly as often. Former sports reporter and frequent Bayless sparring partner Jay Mariotti, for example, is still stuck at about 800 million faulty assertions.
