Bears wide receiver Devin Hester made a wrong turn on his way home from practice yesterday and was lost for several hours. Despite a detailed map of several routes home, Hester decided to improvise his way from Halas Hall to his home in Winnetka.
“I know the team gave me a book with phonetically spelled out directions and all, but I thought it would be better to make up my own way,” said Hester. “Damn, I sure was lost, I saw a sign that said Rockford or something like that, I got scared and just pulled over.”
It was also reported that Hester called Jay Cutler for help. Upon receiving the call Cutler, rolled his eyes, threw his arms up in the air, yelled an expletive into the phone, and slumped down on his couch.
