Desperate to spin every move by Jay Cutler into a negative, members of the national sports media are claiming that the quarterback was trying to intentionally injure and embarrass J’Marcus Webb during Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
“Sure, the video looked like Jay was helping Webb out by tying his shoe,” said noted Cutler-hater Trent Dilfer of ESPN. “But he was obviously just tying his shoes together so the big guy would be humiliated on TV. Talk about a lack of leadership!”
