Bud Selig shocked baseball Sunday night by revoking the Giants World Series victory because of Melky Cabrera’s PED suspension in August after playing 113 games in 2012.
“It just dawned on me that the Giants were anchored by a known cheater for nearly three-quarters of the season,” said Selig who awarded the league championship to the Tigers by default. “We can’t allow that sort of thing damage the sterling integrity of Major League Baseball.”
