National sports pundits came down hard on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers on Friday, blasting the play caller for yelling at one of his receivers during Thursday night’s game against the Bears.
“Obviously [James] Jones could have run a better route,” said former Pittsburgh Steelers great Terry Bradshaw. “But that’s no reason to yell at him. It’s just unacceptable and I’d level the same criticism at any player in the league.”
Despite this claim, seemingly nobody in the media has felt the need to blast Bears QB Jay Cutler, who is constantly getting a free pass from outlets like ESPN and Fox Sports for doing the exact same things other quarterbacks do in this league.
“I don’t know why they’re always picking on me,” said Rodgers. “I mean Jay is doing it too! I guess it’s my body language or something.”
