Ryan Dempster was thrilled to be traded to Braves Monday because being close to Tyler Perry’s Atlanta studios will allow him the chance to expand upon his comedy career by auditioning for the role of “Dorky White Guy 3” in Perry’s next film, “Madea Goes to Fat Camp.”
“I was hoping for a trade to L.A. where I was planning to spend all my free time with my pal Ted Lilly dressed up as Laurel and Hardy on Hollywood Blvd.,” said Dempster. “But Atlanta is the next best thing. Look out Tyler Perry! I’m coming for you with a DVD of my best Comcast Sportsnet appearances up my sleeve.”
