Making his first public appearance since photos of his raucous Madison weekend surfaced this spring, Patrick Kane dodged a barrage of questions about his alcohol consumption while wearing a “foam dome” party helmet stocked with two jumbo cans of Carlsberg beer.
“Look, I’ve made some mistakes and I’m embarrassed about them,” said Kane at Friday’s Blackhawks Convention, pausing to take a sizable pour from the novelty headwear’s straw. “I want to be a role model to kids who love to party as much as I do.”
