Although somewhat of a rarity in professional team sports, the Cubs have made an announcement that they are officially endorsing Mitt Romney for president. The announcement comes on the heels of a number of speeches Romney recently made in which he outlined his plan to get people to “self-deport.”
“We really like the idea of self-deportation,” said Cubs president Theo Epstein. “Therefore, we are putting the full reputation of the Cubs behind his bid for the presidency. In fact, we even contacted his office to let him know we may have the perfect candidate. Now he just needs to let us know if he wants to meet Alfonso.”
