The Cubs announced they will be selling Alfonso Soriano Contract Nachos next season, made from the slugger’s actual contract.
“I said during my introduction that this is going to be a total team effort to turn the ship around,” said new Cubs President Theo Epstein. “Well, that includes the fans. Why should I be the only one eating this ridiculous contract?”
The nachos, which will be sold for $24.95 per tray, are made of the actual paper from Soriano’s deal.
“They don’t taste very good, but I think that’s kinda the point,” said fan Charlie Wooton, who was given a sample outside Wrigley Field. “Whatever it takes to get this team to the Series, I guess.”
Added Wooton: “The cheese helps.”
