Following the White Sox no-hit performance in front of a dozen fans at The Cell Tuesday night, batting coach Greg Walker has decided to update his resume.
“Well, it’s always important to have a recent work history handy,” Walker said, downplaying how hot his seat is getting. “You know, just in case.”
Interestingly, Walker’s resume has little to do with baseball. The coach has instead chosen to focus on computer programs he has used.
“I make spread sheets using Excel,” said Walker. “I figure that should come in handy if, hypothetically, I was looking outside of baseball.”
