White Sox outfielder and basket case Lastings Milledge was designated for assignment last week, most likely ending the short tenure he had with his fourth team of the last five seasons. The White Sox haven’t had a player with a more contradictory name since all-hit, no-glove third baseman Josh Fields was on the roster.
