Downers Grove resident Keith Oglewicz was pumped to get a ticket to Thursday’s Game 6 of the Bulls’ playoff series against Boston. But the disgruntled Bulls fan left in disgust after the Bulls blew a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter and trailed the Celtics, 99-91.
“I can’t believe they blew the game,” he said hustling to his car outside the arena in hopes of beating traffic, as he assumed the team’s season was about to end. “They had that huge lead, and then they just couldn’t score. It’s such a shame, because it was a great run. We just didn’t have enough to pull it out.”
As he got in his Chevy Malibu to drive back to the suburbs, he asked, “So, how much did they wind up losing by, anyway?”
