Whether it’s Michael Irvin or Terrell Owens, the Dallas Cowboys are keepin’ it real in the 2009 television season by entering the realm of reality television.
“It’s really not that much different than “Hard Knocks,” Owens said, discussing his show which, according to reports, will air on VH-1 in July. “Only this time, I’ll get to show you my loveable side.” In the series, Owens will be shadowed in the offseason by his best friends and publicists, Monique Jackson and Kita Williams.
No word whether Owens’ agent, Drew “No Comment” Rosenhaus, will be in the cast.
Hall of Fame receiver Michael Irvin’s new show on Spike TV will give the winner a spot on the Dallas Cowboys spring roster.
Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders, Emmitt Smith and Jerry Jones are expected to be guest stars. Judges will be former players and coaches.
Competitions may range from herding strippers from a hotel room with your wife at the door to the popular how to find Jesus.
